• This photograph was taken in Yosemite National Park in the winter.The mountain was large and this is taken of the upper part only. The foggy look of the clouds surrounded the upper portion of the rocks shrouded but still visible. The rocks had a cascade of varnish coming down the front created by minerals. A hint of the sky in the background is just barely visible in the coming fog. Trees look small in the foreground of the image, but only because the mountain is so large and magnificent.
